Sport Need advice: Taco Bell for cheat meal?

Sport Fitness
Hey guys,

So it's that time again. Last month, I had my first cheat meal in the 2 months of July and August. And it's been one month since then, so I figured I should again. However, my conscience somehow always gets the best of me! I feel HORRIBLE after eating a cheat meal (I'm a meticulous, clean eater otherwise), but i KNOW it'll be good for my body and metabolism. Here's what I'm thinking:

1 grande soft taco
3 hard tacos

What do you guys think? What's your opinion on cheat meals once a month, or in general? Should they be more frequent to aid the process of kick-starting the matabolism?

(P.S.-- I'm Cutting as a side note :D )

its a cheat meal. doesn't matter, just enjoy it.

Berardi says 90% adherance to clean eating is as good as 100% adherance.
if you eat 6 times a day, that's 42 meals a week, so 4 cheat meals per week should have no negative effect on fat loss or lean mass gain.

still gotta watch portion sizes during cheat meals.

WOW up to 4 cheat meals a week will have no effect?

That's unbelievable malkore! haha I'm nervous I won't make it through tonight's with all of the guilt!

I think my thinking is that since I have not reached my goal yet, I don't have a reason to cheat, you know?

But I just have to keep reminding myself it's best for the metabolism....

AND IT'S TACO BELL :D

EDIT: Found this on Berardi's site:
My personal experience has taught me that any cheat meal during periods of attempted fat loss usually brings progress to a screeching halt; even with a single weekly meal. Therefore, I contend that any cheat meal should be consumed during periods in which you are trying to gain mass. In this particular case, a modest weekly cheat meal is usually fine for most people. Leaner people may be able to get away with a little bit more, while those who gain fat easily need to be very cautious.

I think he's just covering himself. I've lost about a pound since last week, and I've had 1 or 2 minor cheats since then.

and believe me, I'm very prone to fat gain.

I've found that a cheat meal a week, of whatever size and type, doesn't set me back much if any at all. And I store fat like it's going out of style. I might show a pound gain on the scales the next day, but it's usually gone the day after. And overall my weight loss continues. It also keeps me sane, cause I have to eat so clean to lose it's insane. It gets so bad I'll dream about junkfood, like my donut dream last week :(
