Need advice on how to progress from here...

Im 17 years old around 5' 10" and currently weigh 170 lbs. I used to weigh 230 so I have lost 60 lbs. This occured over the course of a year or so, however in these last few months I jave been doing IF one 1500 calorie meal every 24 hours. I am at 170 and abs are just beginning to show however progress seems to have slowed a little. My maintenence is 2500 calories with light exercise 1-3 times a week. I play around 5 hours of rugby per week which is quite strenuous. Despite this very large deficit I feel really good and have been very successful getting in shape. However it feels as though I have hit a barrier and wonder if such a large deficit might be counter productive. I feel as though if its not broke I shouldnt try to fix it - one 1500 calorie meal has worked wonders hit macros and maintain muscle while quickly dropping fat. I just want to know if this will continue to work until im very low body fat, or if I should up calories even just temporarily to reset metabolism. I have another 10 lbs of fat to lose or so should I keep doing what im doing or would I have better results lowering my deficit by upping calories?
