Sport need advice fine tuning my cutting diet

I am male 5'6, about 138 pounds, and will be 24 in July. I have always been pretty skinny with extra fat in midsection. (My mom said I looked like one of those starving Somalian kids with a big belly as a little kid). Now I do have a bit of a 6 pack ab definition when I flex but with posture and pushing out I can also still look like I have a pot belly.
For the past few weeks I've been on a cut diet but for the past 2 weeks or so I've been at my current weight. I took a look at my diet as I tried to look for ways to cut more calories when I realized I was already consuming 100 less calories than I thought. So instead of being on a 535 calorie deficit I was on a 635 deficit. (I used the formula in the Nutrition 101 thread to determine my maintenance)
So my dilemma is what to do now? Stay at 635 deficit? go lower? go higher?

Also I'd like to post my diet for any suggestions for a more optimum cut. One concern is I'm eating too much fruit.

breakfast: oatmeal (with strawberries, banana, skim milk, whey) 460
noon snack: fruit 80
lunch: pb on wheat and a fruit: 480
late noon snack: fruit 80
dinner: chick breast, broccoli, brown rice 475
late evening snack: protein shake(strawberries, banana, whey, skim milk) 285

Go higher. You ned to eat more. A good deal more. Moare protein and more veggies. A lot more.
Eat eggs at breakfast with some veggies. You'll feel much fuller.
If you feel you are eating too much counter it with increased activity. HIIT, running, jump rope, weights, tabata...do it all. Stay busy. I do something every single day. Some days it is heavy lifting. Others it may be an hour of 4mph walking. But something.
 
ok thanks, I'm going increase calories to about a 500 deficit.
here's a semi-related question: How accurate are analog scales? Yesterday I was at 138, today I was at almost 135. (I measure myself the exact same way each time)
 
You are lacking protein in your diet. My advice is to eat a protein, carb and fat at each and every meal you can't go wrong.

I agree. You need to intake more protein.
 
You're 138 pounds. Why are you cutting? Ideal body?

He's still cutting, because his body is smarter than he is ... and fat loss ain't happening anymore, because his hormones are crashed out while his hypothalamus struggles for homeostasis. When it came near, the license plate said "Fresh" and there were dice in the mirror..

I laughed hard. The other research assistant just glanced over and gave me a dirty look.
