Sport Need a good, protein bar for cutting

Sport Fitness
Hey guys,

The homemade recipe from this forum I searched didn't solidify---suppose because MILK was involved! It was such an ideal bar for cutting too!

So now I have to do some searching. I have a GNC and Vitamin Shoppe within a block, so I need some advice on what to look for the MOST in a bar with a goal of body fat reduction in mind.

I'm looking to go no more than 340 calories in a bar. Any help/ideas guys?

NO BARS.
let me repeat.
BARS SUCK.

look at my protein waffle recipe in the recipes section. they taste awesome and are better than ANY store bought bar.

I agree fully, but I need to get bars, I have no choice. I'm going to be at college, 3 classes in a row every day from 10-3:30.

I wish I could pack 3 sets of waffles into a cooler! but I can't.

If bars are that hated, what else should I do? I already plan on fruits and nuts, but I need something filling.

Why not? how is a cooked protein waffle any less portable/instantly edible than a protein bar you paid too much for at GNC?

they make those little cooler bags, which you could cram with food, and then jam it into your backpack.

cans of tuna
cans of chicken breast
beef jerky even

bars just really suck man.

Not trying to be mean but we have given you endless advice on the bar situation, I agree with malklore, I even showed you a link before on coolers you can get. If you take in medicore nutrtion, the same is to be expected from your results.

Try Biotest's Grow! bars.

But the greater your adherance to a good diet, the better your results.
