Sport Need a diet plan for better ab-workout

Sport Fitness
It's widely known that abs are made in the kitchen and apart from the working out, eating right is on of the crucial things for getting those abs you always wanted. I workout 6 days a week in the gym and do about 15 minutes cardio on the bike in the gym. However I eat whatever I feel like eating and that's usually not-so-healthy food and in order to get better results I need to start eating right. I need a diet plan for like a week , 10 days or 2 weeks max. If someone can offer me a diet plan , or tell me a web-page where I could find such , I'll really appreciate it. I'm 19, 170 lbs, 6'2 (76 kilos, 185 cm) and although I'm far from overweight I still have little fat in the belly area which I would like to lose. Thanks a lot.

if you really want a tight abdomen you're gonna need to approach this as more than a week or 2 plan. the reality is you'll have to seriously change your eating habits on a long term basis. there are many good eating suggestions in the fat loss section of the forum, do some research and you'll see many good ideas/plans.

to start, dont eat anymore fast food or restaurant food, candy, sodas, bread, convenience foods, cakes, etc.

do eat lot's of whole foods - fish, lean meats & chicken, whole grain cereal, vegetables, salads (fat free dressing only), fruits, water, cottage cheese, etc.

and watch your portions, many people think they're eating "1 serving" of something but are eating more like 3 or 4.

shimmering gives excellent advice, except that bread is fine, if it's whole grain, and you can also eat "restaurant food," if you choose wisely. It can be tricky, though, so if you don't want to think about it, eat at home where you choose every detail of your diet.

yeah it's true that bread is ok in limited doses, same for some restaurant food. i just usually tell beginners to skip them because as was pointed out, it's tricky to know what you can get and how much. snapthat is right on target, though - eat at home where you can control your portions and ingredients. :)

Thanks for the advice it partially helped me in figuring out the nutrition that I should take. However what I was looking for was one of those nutrition programmes for like 2 weeks that come together with most of the ab devices. I've bought 2 ab devices and they both had their booklets with a kind of diet programme for like 2 weeks or 10 days. I cannot find those booklets and I'm looking for something similar to those diet plans. They contain the meals I should have each day and the amount. Is there a web-site for that kind of diets? . The issue here is not about losing fat, I have a little fat but it's nothing scary and I can see my abs, it's more about finding the optimal nutrition or diet plan that goes together in combination with working out and cardio and will be helpful in developing the muscles, especially abs. Eating hot-dogs, hamburgers, chocolate and candy , and drinking soda and a lot of beer during the weekend parties surely cannot be too good. Also, I'm willing do eat everything that's right but can I still have alcohol during the weekends, and what kind of alcohol would be the least to interfere with the diet (sounds funny I know :) ) .

i hate to tell you this but there is no magic ab diet - least of all for 2 weeks. everything i recommended still stands. as far as the alcohol goes, plan on doing LOTS of cardio if you want to burn it off.

Well everything is genetics... but we're looking to push the limits of what Mother Nature has dealt you and make the best of it. Saying that you can't do something because if genetics is usually used as an excuse to be lazy. It's true that some people won't be able to achieve the same results as others, but we all can look and feel better :)

absolutely!
