Well Peanut Butter is one of my favourite things to eat so I decided to buy Krafts Natural Peanutbutter, but it seems unhealthy, and I'm trying to lose weight.

Nutrition:
Per 1Tbsp. (15g)
Calories - 90
Fat - 7g
Saturated - 1g
Carbs - 3g
Fibre - 1g
Protein - 4g
Sugar - 1g
and everything else is non-existant or 0.

Does anybody have any suggestions to how I may make a quick meal on the go with this for school, work or just going out? If so, it'd be much appreciated, thanks.

I like peanut butter too. I just wanted to stop by and see if you knew about PB2 peanut butter. I use this. It's 45 calories per serving. It's powdered peanut butter with 90% of the fat removed. All you have to do is add water to make it into the consistency you want "runny" or "thick" it's up to you. It's supposed to be all natural too. Some might think that adding water is weird or too much work (why? lol) but for 45 calories I certainly don't care.

This is where I bought it:

I have been losing weight since last November eating Peanut Butter on a regular basis.

imho Peanut butter is great. PB is a MUFA (mono unsaturated fatty acid)so it is beneficial to your health lowers LDL and improves HDL. Calories can add up but the fat is a good fat.

You can create your own home made peanut butter. Though that not tastes that delicious but is a good thing as it is natural.

I've put peanutbutter on my no-no list. First off, I just can't eat it without jelly. Second, I just can't help thinking it a PBandJ is nothing but a weight gainer. I still eat peanut and peanut butter protein bars, but PBandJ just doesn't fill me up. I like it a lot, so I've decided to keep it out of my house. My main replacement is just good old turkey sandwiches with mustard. Sometimes I'll get honey smoked turkey or use honey mustard if I need a little sweetness at the time (either of these only adds very few extra calories)

Yeah, I don't know that it's inherently unhealthy to eat peanut butter, but I know that I can over eat it if I'm not careful.

On the go... if you're using low cal bread/pita etc. you can make something with veggies and maybe cheese (I'm assuming you don't have refrigerators). Maybe some hummus or black beans or something in there.
Apple + string cheese isn't bad.
I often bring nuts along - although again those are easy to overeat if you're not careful.

I keep contemplating making my own granola, although it doesn't exactly seem 'meal' like.

If you can keep them reasonably chilled, hard boiled eggs + fruit of some kind is pretty portable. (I.e. keep them in an insulated bag or something).

I'll sometimes do the Fiber One bars or something similar...

Do you cook much? There may be other options, but some of it depends on how much time you have to prep.
