Sport natty pb sucks.

my mom bought some today, and its dry and mushy, not to mention greasy. How is it that much better than you??,...I'll compare Jiff and Smart Balance natty pb.

Jiff--16g fat, 3 sat, 7 carb, 3 sugar, 8 protein
SB--17g fat, 2.5 sat, 6 carb, 0 sugar, 7 protein

how is this that much better.

1. mix it up first

2. 0g of sugar and 0.0g of trans fat. look at Jiff, It contains several partially hydrogenated oils, which is why it contains trans fat. the label says 0g of trans fat because its less than 0.5g trans fat per serving. BUT IT STILL HAS TRANS FAT. and added sugar.

you probbaly didnt mix it up. You know all that oil that was at the top? you need to mix that evenly throughout the whole jar. i made the mistake of pouring it off when i first bought the stuff and it pretty much ruined the entire jar.

also i suggest this stuff...

i dont use anything but that anymore cause its so good. It does have a little more added sugars, but if it helps get you off that crappy Jiff then its worth it.

actually so far ive found that the two worst tasting peanut butters are both healthy kinds :( i guess im not surprised it seems to be that anything that tastes good is bad for you and vice versa.
btw the pb's are
omega smart balance
peanut wonder

Its not that natty pb tastes bad. Its that you're addicted to the sweetness of regular PB, and the ultra smooth consistency that only comes from adding hydrogenated oils.

I mean, you like normal peanuts right? those aren't gross are they? yet that's EXACTLY what natty pb is. Its a mental block people have. You expect natty to taste funny, and then when its not sweet..."OMG that's gross".

I haven't had non-natty pb in probably 3-4 years now and I don't miss it.

i agree, ive never had this natty pb, but with these other two pb's youre right theres virtually no sugar in them, thats probably why im the person that say " omg thats gross" lol

As for the taste of natural pb, it just isn't the same, and takes a lot of getting used to IMO.

As for which is better for you? No question - the natural.

Don't just look at the calories/fat/etc - there are much more important things, like the ingredients.

Something can be low calorie, low fat, and all that and still be pure junk. Regular peanut butter is full of added garbage (many include high fructose corn syrup), natty pb is peanuts and sometimes salt - big difference.
