Hey guys I'm a long time browser, very new poster. Decided I'll kind of track my progress through life...yes working out is life...through this site.

Anyway, the first time I ever lifted a weight was 10th grade...so about 7 years ago. Yeah there has been times when I would go about 6 months without touching a weight...those were the worthless days...damn MMORPGs. Now I have done away with the video games...got this "real" life thing going on and I'm working out like I'm supposed to.

I'll talk about the last 6 months.
July - Lifted with dumbbells every other day, same exercises. Biked on opposite days for 20 min.

August - Went to training (I'm in the military) and we didn't workout too much. A lot of rucking but not much concentrated physical training, at least not enough to make any difference. Also, I was told to "Eat a hamburger sir" (I weighed 151 lbs, 5ft 10in.)

September - Same as August.

October - I began working out like a good boy is supposed to. I have been following Crossfit, oh man, love it, never will I do traditional weight lifting again. Also, instead of eating a hamburger I got some weight gainer, an extra thousand calories outta do it I figured. It did...

November - Continued to follow Crossfit and my weight gainer ran out right before turkey day...so I got on the scale. 169.2lbs. In approximately two months I gained 18.2 lbs. I was happy, ha. Don't know if that's necessarily healthy, but I was able to keep my body fat % < 7. However, I do have some belly now :mad:

December - Still following Crossfit, still maintaining my weight without the gainer, infact I've gained a couple more pounds, about 172 right now.

As of 15DEC2008 my plans are to continue to follow Crossfit, there is nothing better. And I'm adding in a concentrated ab workout and hopefully by spring I'll be looking so sexie...ha...I'm just joking...but you know what I mean!

As for vitamins/supplements...I take Vitamin Shoppe's Ultimate Man vitamin, and GNC's Wheybolic Extreme 60.

As for food:
Breakfast - two bowls cereal, peanut butter bagel
Lunch - Roast Beef/Turkey/Cheese sandwhich, PB&J, some kind of chips, banana, some sort of candy...should probably cut it out...(ex; 3 recees cups, 3 mini butterfinger bars)
Dinner - Whatever the wife makes and a spinach salad. She's health conscious or whatever you consider it so no fried stuff or greasy stuff.

The only thing I drink is water. No soft drinks, rarely alcohol. Oh, and Cranberry juice with dinner :cheeky2:
