Alright, so I not only need weight loss but really dating help as well. You see I have been dating someone online for the past 3 and a half years. Now he is coming to visit me the week of our four year annivesary on September 23rd. I know I'll be at my goal by than or really close to it so that's not the problem. I have never been on a date before or kissed or anything and I'm 21! :p I know very pathetic. I'm not sure where to take him or anything. We are meeting up at the local Applebee's in my town for lunch and after that who knows. Anyway, I would like to get him something for coming to see me and stuff since he refuses my money. I offered to help pay for the trip but he didn't want any help. Any ideas on what I should get him, or where I ought to take him..or anything in general..I'm open to it all.
 
where in indiana are you? any must see places that should be seen?

my bet would be is he's coming to see you -and yu could take him to the municipal dump and he's be happy.. 4 years is al ong time.. you know him pretty well and well just enjoy the visit :D

relax and be the person he's known for the best 4 years -
 
Speaking from the male point of view, I totally agree with Mal. I would never consider a dates limited experience a bad thing. In fact, I'd be kind of honored that she wanted to give dating a try with me.
 
/me is resisting the urge to give the facts of life speech :D just remember to make sure if you do decide do to anything -it's because you are ready to and you want to - not for any other reason... (trust m e it's a lot better when you're doing it for you :D (and always always always use protection :D

and kissing is lots and lots of fun - hope you get your first one and you get the skyrockets :D
 
Aww, thanks guys and no Mal we won't being doing anything that needs protection..at least I don't think so but if we do I'll make sure to have them handy in my purse;) I live in Northwest Indiana very close to Chicago about an hour away. I was thinking of bowling, the movies, The Dunes..ect..showing him off to my co-workers that don't believe he exists.

I was worried you guys would tell me to be careful..which I will but it's nice to hear other things than that.

seriously though- use common sense - but you know that - andmake sure someone knows where you will be.. and have fun... :D

protection in the purse is a good thing.

road trip to chicago could be fun- ride on the ferriswheel at navy pier (perfect place for a first kiss) or head to the top of the hancock tower.
 
I totally will, he's really shy but I'm becoming a social butterfly..I know it's from all this weight losing. He's in for such a big surprise when I show him what's in my purse. :p

I'll see what he thinks of Chicago but knowing both of us we would be happy just having a picnic at the beach. I'm just happy that he's coming and very excited. I have been longing to meet him for a long time now.
 
I just gotta comment on the online dating thing. Dood, rock on. I've had a girlfriend for almost 4 years. I'm in Maine...in the United States...and she's in Brazil. It's tough...but it really says a lot about a relationship that can endure a situation like that.
