So my older sister is having a baby in April. Her shower was last weekend. My younger sister and I were dicussing her registry.
As we have all learned, if you don't jump on a registery early all the gifts that are left are either too expensive and you have to find people to "go in" with you or really cheap and you have to buy 48 little gifts.
When my younger sis got to the registry she got the only gift that was adequately within her price range, which ended up being a breast-pump. Well she didn't want to buy a breast-pump thinking it was a bizarre gift to get her sister, but she did because there was no other one gift within her price range (I ended up having to buy 48 small gifts. So at the shower my older sis is unwrapping the gifts in front of the whole family and all her friends (about 40 of us) and she gets to the breast-pump. When she pulls off the wrapping paper it is revealed that my younger sister glued Mardi Gras beads all over the box ("Show us your ----!").
