My scale weighs me at 289 pounds, and the number refuses to go any higher.
Obviously I don't really want it to go higher (indeed, I think I'm at the point where I don't need to gain) - but it's been at 289 pounds for the last six months - perhaps longer.
I thought this was because I had reached the maximum weight that my scale will record - but it gives me the exact same number on every other scale I've tried, including a professional machine I recently used. (With the exception of a doctor's scale, which I admittedly haven't attempted yet). Also, when I weigh myself with my clothes off, the number goes down a few pounds as it should - except, shouldn't this be impossible if I'm far over the 289 number? Wouldn't it stay the exact same, no matter how few clothes I was wearing?
I don't eat any better than I did before these six+ months. Something should have changed.
Has anyone here had this experience?
