Sport my meals, my exercise, my never ending hunger

Sport Fitness
Whats up guys?

I have a few questions concerning my meals throughout the day. First off, Im 22 year old male at 6'0 and 155lbs. Im a part time cop so Im in good physical shape. Ill start off with my meals throughout the day, then my exersises and see if theres not some way to make them work better together. As I find I am constantly hungry.

Ok so today for example...

Breakfast
Bowl of cheerios with banana and 2% milk
Bagel
Orange Juice

before the gym
granola bar
red bull

lunch after the gym
grilled chicken sandwich

dinner
a huge steak...no lie
garlic bread
peanut butter and jelly sandwich

See thats my problem. I always start eating so much more at dinner time. And Im a night owl too so Ill end up eating at night too because Im hungry. Now I think this is because of my metabolism due to my workout I did today.

here it goes. this is all within an 1 and 1/2 hour session

30 mins (2:15/500meters at 29-30 pulls a minute)
ran 1 mile
200 pushups (sets of 50 then 25)
200 jumping jacks
50 squat thrusts
240 mountain climbers (3 sets of 20 "4-count reps")

leaving the gym/school I did the following...

10 mile bike ride
to school I biked 5 miles. and the way home was 5 miles.

So needless to say, Im starving afterwards. So basically what Im trying to get out of those long post, is...what can I do either to control my appetite OR somehow mix in a type of meal or exersise that doesnt leave me as hungry.

Thanks to anyone who can remotely understand what the hell Im talking about.

Well, you're definitely burning up what you're eating everyday. However, something I noticed that seems to be missing in your diet is fibre. Myself, in the morning I take either a hemp protein or a flax protein with my meal. One serving twice a day. The protein is a good source, but it also keeps me feeling full with the amount of fibre present. (Also don't forget the vegetables)...Pete

Ok I am going to point out the obvious here:

Dude, look at your breakfast! There is absolutely no protein! Just a bunch of fast burning carbs! If I ate that I would be hungry again in an hour. And I'm 5'6'' girl.

The first hint of protein you get is the chicken sandwich after your workout. I'm not sure what all is on that sandwich but I'm just going to assume whole wheat or sprouted bread, lettuce and chicken breast (no sauces). Sounds like a good after workout meal. But you have no protein before that. Add some egg whites to your breakfast (I eat like 4 egg whites), and maybe have some lean meat sometime before your workout. Cooked in olive oil for some good fats. Eat some almonds or something for good fat too. You are totally lacking in good fats, fiber and protein until late in the day. Which may explain why you gorge later on, cause all your fuel has burned up and you're starving! So for breakfast try something like this:

Egg Whites (However many you want!)
Oatmeal or Bran muffin or High Fiber Cereal (I would get something better than cheerios, just my opinion though)
Milk (if you have cereal)
I think your banana would work well here too

Maybe have some nuts on you to munch on in a couple hours. Lately I've tried to not eat fats like nuts with carbs. But that's just my own personal thing. I'm not a qualified nutritionalist but I think it's better to eat fats by themselves.
