Hi ya.

I'm Dewdrop, 35 and been battling my weight for 15 years. I have decided it is time I be accountable and to shed the weight I desperately need to lose so I can regain my health and to be able to do things I want to do again such as horse riding etc.

I also need motivation and think this forum will aide in that motivation.

Good idea, what I did was to start keeping track of my food and posting it here. I've only been doing it for about 10 days, but it has really helped so far. A good way to be accountable, and I find the other members often chime in with helpful ideas and support.

Hey Dewdrop! I’m really excited to hear that you’re continuing with your weight loss journey, in spite of having struggled in the past. A good friend of mine had a similar struggle with her weight loss and MS. She is also vegan and has a very restrictive diet. After working with her and finding out that she is motivated by group activities and outdoor activities, she was able to lose 30 lbs! She also found that her MS away easier to overcome with a workout plan that was engaging to her - some of her workouts even included her dog! What kinds of things have you tried in the past?
