My first half marathon.

Well, I'm alive. I ran my first half marathon "21km" yesturday in Ottawa, Canada.
I didn't train AT all, but finishing made me want to run on a regular basis.
Planing to beat my time next year by 50minutes or more.
Ran 17km till i couldn't take the pain anymore in my knees and hips.
for my first time to run 17k without training... I'll kill my time with training next year.
If I'm not working on Canada Day, I want to do the Morning 10km run. we'll see.

excellent sonic! feels good, doesn't it? what are your next goals? to go for longer or to get faster?

if you can run 13.1 miles without training, you can do a marathon with only about 3/4 months. (i just did my first marathon 3 weeks ago!)

I ran 21km (Half Marathon) in just around 2.51.
Suprisingly my cardio was fine but my knees and hips started giving out and I couldn't run the last 3 or so Km's. Couldn't walk for 2 days after the race. and Been a week since I could jog without pain in my knees. I should be good to go by monday.

I plan to run it again next year and beat my time but 50 minutes. Under 2 hours would be SWEET.
