My face broke out, allergic reaction?

The whole right side of my face just broke out, its a light red and itches really bad. I asked someone people and they said it might be an allergic reaction to something? Maybe something with my pillow because I normally sleep on my right side.

I was just wondering, what kinds of things will help make the rash go away?

Try calamine lotion or an over-the-counter antihistamine or allergy medication.

Did you switch brands of laundry detergent? I had a similar experience and had to switch back because I wore a shirt and my back and chest got this nasty rash.

Did you start using frebreeze or some other "fabric refresher" on your bed? Also another possible culprit.

A food, drink, face cream, deodorant, air spray, cosmetic, animal, plant, etc - could be all sorts. If it happens again and again, start to eliminate the obvious one at a time. I get it everyday, and can't do much about it. I'm under strong prescription antihistamines for the foreseeable future :( It seems that my immune system is wonked.

you might also consider perhaps you have a bug bite or something on that side of your face that you might be having an allergic reaction to. While the other posters are totally right, it would be frustrating to figure out the source if you haven't recently changed your pillow or detergent or anything. Just a thought. But yes, the calamine or some antihistamine would work to reduce the itchie.

Thanks for the replys everyone. I havent switched detergents lately and I've never had an issue with that before. I change my sheets, blankets, etc often so I don't really understand it. I've been trying to think lately if I've used any other products, hopefully I will come up with something. Lol, thanks again for the replys!
