The past few months I've just been trying to get into decent shape. I've been going to the gym for a couple months 3 days a week doing full body workouts and running 2 days a week. I've already seen some results, I look more toned and my stomach is starting to get alot more defined. I'm mainly trying to get some abs and tone up a little then I wanna try bulking in a couple months. I used to eat whatever I want and now I've been sticking to this diet,

BREAKFAST 6:15
Oatmeal w/ Blueberries and 1 Splenda Packet 150 Calories
Protein Shake 120 Calories

Total Calories= 170

LUNCH 10:40 (Early Because I have 1st lunch at School)
Celery Stick
Banana

Total Calories=123

SNACK 2:30 (When I get home from School)
Big Bowl of Brown Rice
2 Scrambles Eggs

Total Calories=490

5:00
Salad with Light Ranch Dressing and "Salad Toppings"

Total Calories: 125

Dinner 8:30
4 O.Z. Skinless Chicken Breast
Bowl of Brocoli
Protein Shake

Total Calories=263
 
Great schedule, if you're an eight year old.

With your activity level this is insane, you're severely undereating which is causing your body to go into starvation mode.

This is limiting your results, fat loss, muscle gains, and is very bad for your body.
 
How much do you weigh? Do you know your daily maintainence calorie intake number? As Xenth said, that's a ridiculously low amount of food...
 
This is what I got from a Calorie Calculator online,



Maintenance: 2281 Calories/day
Fat Loss: 1824 Calories/day
Extreme Fat Loss: 1368 Calories/day

I weigh 145 pounds. Am I eating the right foods but not enough? I've been reading alot about teh dieting on here and I'm always reading to have some protein with each meal that you eat. I was thinking of adding some Cottage Cheese or some Turkey to lunch.
 
You're eating like a bird and the wrong foods at the wrong times, along with not enough protein in your diet as well. Actually the safest bet would be to read up on a few articles and maybe go out and get "Scrawny to Brawny", your questions will be answered and you will be able to judge from there.
