I have recently purchased the Cohen's Lifestyle Diet and am all set to begin my weight loss journey come tomorrow. I figured I'd keep a journal of all things to do with my weight loss as a way of not only being accountable but also so that in time i can come back and see how far I've come and how much I've lost - especially on those days i feel discomplacent and craving the bad stuff I'm not allowed to eat the moment.
Cohen's is basically a low calorie, low fat and low carb diet thats all about using food as a medicine and training your body to "eat to live, not live to eat". My understanding is that it will rid my body of its sugar addiction and also my food addiction ... more so addcition to CRAP. This diet is by no means easy so it will at times be a struggle.
My plan is to do 2 weeks super strict ... no breaking. After 2 weeks am allwoing myself one free meal per week - however this meal cannot contain pasta, bread or heavy carbs. I figure it will be my way of staying on the bandwagon and not slipping. So will be interesting to see how it all pans out.
I currently weigh in at 74 kilos and am aiming to get down to about 55 kilos ... for now my first mini goal is 69 kilos ... when i get there am rewarding myself with something super nice. I am loooking forward to my first week and seeing how much i can lose. Plus its my birthday so will be interesting to see how i go with it that day. I am also giving up my serious caffine addiction (am a pepsi max and coke zero junkie) am limiting my intake to 600 ml a day.
So wish me luck and lets see the weight go out that old fat door never to return. XOXOX
