My body hates me.

Hi everyone!
Newbie to the forum, but not a newbie to weight loss. (Or attempts at it I should say...)

I was wondering if anyone had any input at what might be going on...

About 2 years ago, I had successfully lost 17 pounds in 3 months. (I have about 70 lbs to lose in all). Then, I lost motivation and gained it all back, and more.

Getting a bit of motivation a couple of months later, I went back to it, (it being circut training), thinking I would get good results again. After an entire month of busting my butt, (I put in even more effort that time around; walking to and from the place instead of driving, cutting out junk food, eating smaller portions, working out 4-5 times a week when before I was only going 3times a week, etc.)

Weigh-in day came. I had lost 3/4 of a pound. That's right, not even ONE pound. Needless to say that drained any motivation I had and sent me back to couch potato land.

Now, a couple months later, I've decided to give it another try. I purchased a couple of DVDs and have been working out from home. I've gone back to watching what I eat and all that. Yet, the numbers aren't changing. At all.

I have three months to get into shape, but my body seems to want to work against me. What could I be doing wrong?

1. How many calories a day are you consuming and how are you keeping track?
2. WHat is your current age/height/weight/gender
3. Ho long have you been "dieting" this round

Please keepin mind that this is a process - a lifestyle change -and not a quick fix - you should be working on building new habits.. and incorporating those new habits into your life - wow do isound like a commericial? :D

Read the stickied threads in the forum - pay particular attention to the thread on the scale mentality ....
