My Basic Summer Workout (cycling)

Hey I just wanted to give you guys my main workout plan and I wanted any suggests you can offer + I have some questions at the end.

I live in the country. I ride up and down 3 long hills about 2 1/4 miles into town, then once in town I ride to the gym to get a quick drink/ use restroom then ride back to the route to get back to my house, I ride about 1 and a half miles in town which has a relatively flat landscape with just a few small dips and inclines, then after that I ride 2 1/4 miles back to my house so I travel about 6 miles total.

That was kind of sloppy so I'll sum up what I did again:

2 1/4 mile ride from house to town
1 1/2 mile ride in town (I stop at gym here to get a drink/ use restroom/ lift weights(
2 1/4 mile ride from town to house, this part is pretty hard and really pushes me, especially the steep hill to my house.

After a while, I'll start to run 1/2 a mile on a track next to my house, then work up to 1 mile and so on.

I haven't worked out in a while, I usually start working out once summer comes around to get a nice beach body etc. This time I plan on workout year long (but I'll talk about that somewhere else). Also, I've done this exact workout before during the summer, even the running part.

I just had a few question about this. This workout is ok first of all isn't it? Is it ok to use the weights once I stop at the gym instead of taking only a short stop before getting back on my bike? I also plan on working my muscles but if its best to do straight biking and use weights later I can drive back to the gym after my bike workout. Is it ok to do this workout everyday (even sunday, my rest day)? I usually do this everyday during the summer except for the weekends but I think I can handle doing it 7 days a week, or 6 days a week if I must have that rest day.

Oh by the way, I'm 5'11 and weigh anywhere from 150-160 lbs (pounds).

I've also already started doing this workout. I haven't done it many times yet but I have done it everyday without stopping except to stop at the gym.

This is not an extreme workout, so if it gets your heart rate up then it is fine for you to do it 6 days a week - yes, you should have 1 rest day for now. Weights, running and cycling are a good combination and complement each other.

Ok, I'll do it 6 days a week so I have one rest day.
I'll be adding weights in to it 3-4 times a week, thanks for the advice!
