muscles felt good in the morning

It was kinda weird this morning cause when I woke up. My muscles felt relaxed. It was a great feeling. I never really had it before. I rest on Weds and workout on Mon, Tues , thurs, fri. I can't really explain the feeling, but it kinda felt like my muscles were relaxed. I could've sleep form 6 more hours, but had to wake up.

What does it exactly mean???(if it means anything at all). Like I said before, I really never felt this before I started working out.
I got about 9-10 hours of sleep. Do you think its my muscles gaining some mass??? I don't know, its just a wild guess.

Maybe you just didn't workout enough. You should try changing it up. Your muscles might have gotten stretched from the workout but not really worked.

i think leandrofu means not enough weight, rather han not enough times per week.

Feeling like this is a good thing. But if you feel this relaxed after every workout, then you need to push yourself harder. A little sorenes the next day shows that you have stressed your muscles and therefore they should grow in response.

maybe, i am saying that soreness is one indicator of how hard you worked your muscles. if they have been stressed they will feel sore, and if your nutrition is right, they will grow stronger in response.

If you dont feel sore afte one workout thats fine, but if you never feel sore (not even a little), and you wnt to gain mass, you need to push yourself harder, maybe use heavier weghts etc in order to provoke the muscle to grow.

Alex (xander) is right. I don't feel sore every day, but I do feel sore on a regular basis. I find that when I'm not getting sore it's either because I'm not challenging myself or my body has started to get accustomed to the current workout.

wow I didn't know that. the only times I really feel sore is when I have worked out after a 3 week delay. If I don't workout for 3 weeks and then I hit the gym, the next day I feel sore. But thats about it. I thought soreness was a bad thing. I have switched it up a couple time and I haven't felt sore, so maybe I should lift heavier weights to feel that soreness.

yes, if u want to gain muscle, definitely. Even a little soreness - don go overboard. This means your muscles have micro tears in them, and if your diet is good enough, these will heal back even stronger than before.

that is the essence of weight lifing.

What kind of back excercises do you do. I was just wondering because i feel like i don't do enough. I also work my lats on the same day as biceps, and do the rest of my back and shoulders on another day.

I work my latissimus dorsi, with a cable underhand pulldown. If you do it go, you really feel it. Then I hit the cable seated row to work my general back. After that I workout my lower back with some weight. I forgot the name but you lean on this 45 degree and hold the wieght to your chest and go up and down. I ca'nt explain it well. But thats what I do for my back, then I hit the barbell shrug.
