Muscle Milk - Scooper Question

Hi,

I am new to Muscle Milk, so I have a question about the scooper.

The directions say "Mix 2 scoops..." and 2 scoops is supposed to equal 75g.

However, when I pull out the plastic scooper that comes with the powder, the scooper already holds 75g per single scoop. (Can anyone confirm this?)

So...I'm confused. Do, I take that 75g scoop and use it twice? Or was that scooper designed to hold "2 scoops" aka 75g already per scoop for easy use?

Thanks in advance!

How do you get 2 scoops is supposed to be 75 grams?

In the Supplement Facts box right next to the Directions and Ingredients

It says:
Serving Size 2 scoops (75g)
Servings Per Container 15

And then I googled for a grams/tablespoon converter. And 75g is about 5.26 tablespoons. Then I took the scooper and used my cooking tablespoons and I was able to put 5.26 tablespoons of water to top off the scooper...

Look for a line around the halfway point on the scooper, it'll be very light..

Actually, I washed it off and held it up to a light and there's no line. But at the bottom of the scoop it does say 70 cc. Does that mean it's 75g?

Anyway, based on the inferences of your reply along with my simple math, I think I'll just be using the scoop once for every "2 scoops" that the directions ask for.

Thanks so much for your help! : )

I have no clue, if they say use 2 scoops. Use 2 scoops, directions = your friend. Either way you'll be alright..

I'm pretty sure 2 scoops = 75g. I have a big scooper in my protein and its only 29g each scoop. So it'd take 2 to even come close to 75..

75g of water takes up a lot less space than 75g of a powder. you cant compare themin the same container. water is much more dense than powder. You are taking a mass and comparing it as a volume.

Here's the deal: tablespoons measure volume. grams is a weight measurement.
because some stuff is less dense than other stuff, figuring grams by using volume measuring devices isn't accurate or ideal.

oh, I see junkfoodbad said the same thing.

70cc is cubic centimeters, and again is a measure of volume, not weight, like grams is.

just follow the label.

Got it - thanks so much.
I'll stop caring about how big I think the scooper is. If the directions say use 2 scoops, then I'll just take that plastic scooper and use 2 scoops. =)

Probably what I should have done in the first place, instead of trying to be all smart with math n'all. :)

I take muscle milk as well, just scoop twice bro
