Muscle Milk Light...Good/Bad?!?!

I am an active 26 yr old female. I work out 6 days a week. I am about 5'4 and have lost about 30lbs since January sticking to this workout regimn and eating healthy (I'm a pescatarian, dont eat any meat, just fish&veggies).
I was wondering, I am at a standstill with my weight right now. My goal is to loose about 10 more pounds. Is muscle milk light a good choice to help me? If I drink one shake after a workout to get some protein in my system, is this hindering/accelerating my weight loss goals?

As long as you are still remaining in a calorie deficit with the protein shake added in to your diet, you would still lose weight. But the true problem sounds like you've been doing the same workout since January... your body has long since gotten used to what you've been doing. I'd try changing up the workout structure/frequency/makeup you've been doing, and give it a couple weeks. Generally, I try to change up my workout about every 6 weeks, I think that is about the generally accepted time frame as well (if memory serves correctly).

that last 10 lbs is the hardest 10 lbs, but with determination (6 days/week it looks like you have that covered) it is achievable. I would, as previously stated, change things up a bit and try to cut a few extra calories (remember, the less you weigh the less you need, therefor your old calorie count may need to be adjusted for the 30lbs you've lost so far).

As far as Muscle Milk goes, its fine. It isn't a weight loss suppliment, it will only add calories to your diet, thus obstructing your weight loss goal, unless you cut something else out.

Thanks!

I am sticking to a workout routine of 6days a week, but I am always changing up my exercises, I get bored quickly so I am constantly trying different and new things (kickboxing classes, running, elliptical, pilates, etc.) I want to loose this last 10lbs....preferably by November 1st! So if I drink the muscle milk post-workout as a "meal replacement" shake....that would be a good idea? ya think?

Hey Bella, I'm basically the same train you are. My fiance just started to drink Muscle Milk Light as a meal replacement for dinner, and he's been dropping weight because it helping him control what he puts in. I was stuck at a weight like you, so this week I started doing that as well, and instead of dinner, I just have one shake and count it into my calories So far I have lost a few pounds :) I also hardly have any protein in my diet and eat mainly vegetarian, so this helps me get the protein in also, which helps.

Iv found that MM is only good for me right after a workout. It does have extra fat/cals and that has been beneficial to me right after i lift. As far as using it during the day i would say no.

ON Standard Whey is a good choice. 1 scoop at 130cal and 24g compared to 2 scoop at 195cal and 25g. Just my opinion

I'm a HUGE fan of Muscle Milk and Muscle Milk light. However, I usually mix one scoop of it with another Whey protein isolate so that I can get more protein, a higher quality protein and less calories.

Try Scivation's new Whey. It's a pure whey protein isolate with AMAZING taste!
