Multivitamin?

Hi all.. I'm a 24 year old female, who JUST began a mild weight loss program. I've started eating much better, and am currently doing about 30-35 minutes of cardio 3-4 days a week, steadily increasing that as my body adjusts. I'd like to take a multivitamin, and wasn't sure if some are better than others depending on age, gender, workout routine etc. Eventually I am aiming for an hour of cardio 4 days a week.. and have heard some negative things about the "weight smart" vitamins.. but have tried them anyway, and they made me feel sick, even being taken with food. I have a hard time taking pills, so I would much prefer a single capsule, rather than the packs with multiple pills. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks! :)

I take Centrum Performance and it seems to give me more energy. but what works for me might not work for you. everybody's different. but thats the multivitamin that i take, and it dose what it says it should do.

If you don't like pills, I would suggest you try an effervescent form of multi-vitamins. These are delicious and do not leave an aftertaste like pills do. I use MultiVescence which contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids, bioflavonoids, L Glutamine, and CoQ10. That's all the supplementation I need, so I feel the need to take any other supplements. The effervescent technology allows the body to quickly absorb all the nutrients. Pills don't disintegrate in the body easily and I read that only about 30% to 65% is actually absorbed by the body, whereas effervescent vitamins allow 99% absorption!

I've always been a fan of Lifeforce by Source Naturals.

Like LV, I am also a fan of Source Naturals "Life Force". I get mine without Iron, as I get plenty from my diet.

The bottle will tell you 4 per day total, but I rarely take more than 2. Again, its a supplement, not a mainstay.

I like this brand because they've actually been independently tested and shown to have a higher absorption rate.

Never really cared for centrum or One-a-day.

Good ol' plain Centrum for me and Caltrate. That's all my Dr. recommended..

Oh and there is no reason to up your cardio to an hour a day (you'll get sick of it). 30-35 minutes is plenty for weight loss. Just switch your selection up now and then so your body doesn't get used to it.

Wondering if any of you guys heard of Vemma or Verve? Both are liquid multi-vitamins, and im sure we all know liquid is better than a pill - straight to the blood stream and get more use out of it! Vemma is a juice and Verve is an energy drink! both are all natural and organic. Pretty crazy...

email me for more info anyone is interested!

Life Force by Source Naturals myself. As said, they have been tested in a lab against over a 1000 other multivitamins and came in 2nd place. The 1st place winner was crazy expensive.

Since we are on the subject of mutlis...does anyone beside me take one in the morning, and then also one with my post workout shake? I just figured my body would get more out of it when it's absorbing everything like that.
