Multi-Vitamins - need more than RDA?

Hi

Could someone clear this up for me please...

I haven't a clue what vitamins I should be taking. I currently take one of these everyday:

Bassett's one a day soft & chewy vitamins A, C, D & E
Vitamins help to maintain good health and Bassett's soft & chewy vitamins are specially formulated to provide 100% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamins A, C, D & E.

Nutritional information Per pastille % RDA*
Vitamin A 800µg 100%
Vitamin C 60mg 100%
Vitamin D 5µg 100%
Vitamin E 10mg 100%
*RDA means recommended daily allowance

I've read that if you work out intensely you need like 400% of RDA or something. I really haven't got a clue

Could someone point me in the right direction towards what vitamin supplement I should have (ideally one suited specifically to people who workout a lot), because these ones seem more suited to children than what I probably need.

Oh and I spend like 1 hour and 20 mins in the gym 6 days a week (weights 4 days a week, cardio 6 days a week) - currently cutting, and have a perfectly clean diet (though i don't have fruit because of keeping carbs down).

Thanks!!

Hardgainers should take 2 multi-vitamins a day.

Yeah I had a look at the Animal pak one but its well expensive for my liking.

I'm gonna have 2 regular multi-vitamins (one in morning & one straight after workout - 1 on rest days?)

Should I just go for the multi-vitamin with the most stuff in - I'm not sure which one to get, theres too many of them

Look for higher levels of Zinc and Magnisium.

Ok, well I got this one:

A-Z Multivitamin & Mineral (% are of Recommended Daily Allowance)

Vitamin A 100%
Vitamin D 100%
Vitamin E 100%
Vitamin C 100%
Thiamin (B1) 100%
Riboflavin (B2) 100%
Niacin (100%)
Vitamin B6 100%
Folic Acid 100%
Vitamin B12
Biotin 100%
Pantothenic Acid 100%
Vitamin K 30µg
Calcium 20%
Phosphorus 15%
Iron 100%
Magnesium 33%
Zinc 100%
Iodine 100%
Potassium 40µg
Selenium 25µg
Manganese 0.5mg
Copper 2mg
Chromium 25µg
Mlybdenum 25µg

Seems much more in this one ay? Anyway do you reckon its a good idea having this twice a day on days I workout? (don't have fruit+veg because cutting + wokouts are very intense)

One other thing... considering this only has 33% magnesium. There was a tub of magnesium tablets as well. Do you reckon it would be a good idea to get that as well?
