Multi vitamin with other options?

I have been advised by a guy in the gym to take a combination of Vitamin C, Vitamin B Complex, cod liver oil and Multi vitamins first thing in the morning of each day. Does anyone have an opinion on this & also doesnt multi vitamin cover the requirement for C & B or are these more effective on their own>?

many different opinions. a multi with a good meal plan will suffice for many. i do extra vitamin C because we hear so many good things about it. some do extra B and E.

if you want to go for it, just start with a multi first and see how you'll do. it'll be the best way to see if you need anymore than that ;)
