I think this is going to be an amazing journey. So glad that I've found Cohen's and am DOING IT.
To start with, here are a few of the goals that I look forward to achieving along the way.
* Losing the lower back pain that has come back to haunt me. I feel like i'm about 65yo when I get out of bed each morning. If I wasn't holding an extra 40kg on my front, this would not be a problem. I think this should be gone in the next few weeks.
* Being able to fit normal size 'girl pants' at work.
I was given some mens 105cm pants to wear, they would actually fit me great if I was an extra 6 inches taller. So maybe Garfield was right when he said "I'm not overweight, I'm undertall". The problem with men's pants, is that most men don't have thunder-thighs, so they may fit me in the waist (just), but there is not a lot of room left in the thigh. And when I say normal size girl pants, I even mean a size 18 at this stage.
* Being able to do up my shoelaces without needing a break between shoes, and doing them up with my pants done up
* Looking nice in the dress I'm wearing to the wedding in 6 weeks time.
It's a size 18, and fits a bit ok at the moment. I would like it to fit me great, if not be a little bit big.
* Wearing an even nicer and skinnier dress to the other wedding we're going to in May 2007, that is definitely going to be a size 12, and slinky!!
* Learn to tell MrMc where to go when he brings me home temptations, eg, jam donuts and florentines from McCafe. Not just while I'm on Cohen's, but when i'm slim and fantastic too. Which I think means, to be able to think like a thin person.
* To stick to my plan of only weighing fortnightly. I know what I'm like if I don't see a loss on the scales everytime I weigh.
* To learn how to reward myself without food. I am so motivated by food, I remind myself of my puppy. Whereas the other dog only eats when he's hungry. Must learn to be like him.
