Okay so here goes...... I'm very new to this ... But I have to try this because nothing works for me lol...... My names Danielle but you can call me Dani...... I need to loose weight ....... I was in the army for a while and have always been alright in my weight...... Well somethings have changed now I'm married have 2 kids and sometimes I feel like I'm addicted to food..... I just eat for no reason...... This is the biggest I have ever been and I have to do something about it ....... My husband is a marine so he's always doing something ...... and it seems like everyone around here is hot and I want to be hot again lol..... So my goal is to lose at least 20 pounds....... I would like to lose more but I just want to start little for now ....... I want to be full of energy again and be able to be happy all the time with my boys....... Sometimes I don't even want to get out of bed...... But thangs have to change and I need to get on with the flow of loosing weight...... Hopefully this will motivate me, because thats been my biggest downfall .......... I want to be able to enjoy going to the beach, shopping for clothes and for heaven sakes sex........because obiviously thats on my mind all the time now that I am with my husband....... Even though I know he loves me for me .... I just want to be hot again for him.........Well enough of this entry thanx for taking your time and reading !

I did 45 min kickboxing aerobics and ran the stairs for 15 mins . I also stop all my snacks and only drank water!

Portion control is the key mate as far as bread pasta potatoes and meats go. Good snacks are fruit vegs and salads. Looks like you are doing wonderful on your water and exercise.
 
Hey Dani! Welcome to the group.. I too was always eating for no reason.. or if i was depressed I'd eat.. mainly If i was bored I would eat.. but since I've started dieting everytime I feel like i'm bored.. and even open the fridge.. I go work out! This forum really helped me out alot! I have lost 9 lbs since joining in October.. and it will help you out too.. Just remember to stay honest when posting your food... drink lots of water..and exercise! We are all here to support you! Hopefully by this time next year we will both be looking hot again! lol... I know exactly what you mean, Dani about wanting to be hot for the hubby again... well, mine's a fiancee, but I still want to wow him like I used to be able to when we first met ;)

I'll agree with rosered, though, a huge part of the battle is learning portion control, and how to push the plate away when you're full, even when its still half-full (or even better, not filling it up so full in the first place!). Trust me when I say it gets much easier with time; as you get used to not eating as much, it'll be harder to eat more.
