Well I have been on my exercise routine for about a month now. I have only lost 5 pounds so now i have really just not motivated to do it anymore. It sems i worked my butt off for nothing!!! grrrrrrrrr:mad:

I wish I could dropped another 5 pounds in a month. That will get my waistline down another inch. If you keep at this pace, you will be 30 pounds lighter in 5-6 months. That is really big progress. Do you know what it is like to lugging 30 pounds around all the time? Do you know how great it is to lose that 30 pounds? Try the Turkey Walk described in my blog:

You will be amazed how GREAT it feels to drop the extra pounds. It is worth it. It wouldn't be a bad idea to take a day or two off from your routine and let your body rest a bit.

Cheers!

Terry- That is an EXCELLENT way to get people to realise how good they are really doing! Last time I did Atkins and lost 15 pounds I thought "Well jee, that ain't much..." Until I went bowling with a 16 pound ball and realised it was only a pount heavier then what I had lost- Then I truley realised how much that was!

I also need some motivation. My motivation used to be just to bite the bullet and get my butt to the Y, but I don't want to dread going, infact, I may even want to look forward to going! But the thought of working out infront of all of those people makes me nervous...

Thank you again,
