Motivation Needed! PLZZZ

Hi Queen AB

Have been struggling with weight issues due to emotional overeating and lack of exercise, since joined forum managed to get started on the weight loss journey as follows

Saturday did 1/2 hour swimming followed by 1/2 hour gym work, nothing spectacular but was first step(the most difficult step is always the first one!), read up on a liver flush and did this over the weekend followed by herbal liver tablets, the theory is to get the liver working efficiently to pump out fat together with some exercise (joined the natural weight loss code, check this out, has very good tips and workout routines from home/gym) and sensible eating, have also given up with the bathroom scales.

Hope this is of use, look forward to sharing info with you and where are you at at this moment?

Regards
KV

Thank you for responding! I've lost 30 ponds just off exercise and eating right . I see progress but I don't see the scale moving anymore . :(

Sometimes you get results from the tape measure when none at the scales... be sure to take measurements in addition to weighing.

The UK National Health Service has this to say on the subject of waist size:

Waist size and risk of health problems

You have a higher risk of health problems if your waist size is:
===more than 94cm (37 inches), if you’re a man
===more than 80cm (31.5 inches), if you’re a woman

Your risk of health problems is even higher if your waist size is:
===more than 102cm (40 inches), if you’re a man
===more than 88cm (34.5 inches), if you’re a woman

Lost 3kgs in one week (about 6 1/2 lbs), once get started on exercise and sensible eating you will want to carry on, the first steps are the hardest.
