Reasons I'm glad I'm staying faithful to my diet:
- I haven't been to Old Navy in over a decade for jeans. That's probably the first place I'll go once I'm a size 10 or smaller.
- Shirts will look better on me.
- When my fiance is asking for a massage, we'll both be able to sit on my bed without my massive backside knocking him off. It's a twin size... lol
- My rave attire will look legit instead of "insecure".
- I will feel more photogenic.
- Maybe just maybe the cute bras will fit.
- My knees won't hate me anymore. I have bi lateral patello femoral syndrome.
- My summer bathrobe will completely cover me for the first time since like.... high school.
- I will be able to take "belated" graduation photo shots when I feel confident enough. Yes, I plan on having someone take pictures of me somewhere in full regalia. I believe my fiance and I will update our "engagement photos" too even though I was practically more "beanpole-like" when the original shoot happened. Lol!
- Bikinis. It's been almost a decade.
- In January, I said yes to a size 14 bridal gown. David's Bridal can tailor it down to a 10, but I want to see if I have to have the "I need it an additional size smaller!" problem.
- I won't despise speed bumps anymore because I won't be clutching my muffin top when it uncomfortably jiggles. (because there won't be one to clutch)
- When people say I'm too skinny and should have a cheeseburger, I will say thank you.
- My bike tires will thank me and won't deflate as often.
- Walking in a skirt won't suck. When I was at National Convention last summer for my fraternity, my thighs were so huge they were getting bruises and rashes from rubbing against each other as I walked in my pin attire for sessions (I didn't really have time to be in casual clothes because I was a collegiate chapter voting delegate.)
- I won't be as insecure about myself.
- I'll be less shy about wearing tank tops in public....my arms were as big as my thighs a few months ago but the only reason I dealt with wearing tank tops this summer is because I LIVE IN the central valley.
I'm sure I have more, but that's all I have for now.
