morning cardio, catabolic, bulking...

Hey, as some of you may know i have a foot problem which i am sorting out so i cant run. Starting from new years i am going to start walking every morning at a brisk pace.

Now what i am worried about is losing my muscle (going catabolic). I have been bulking for like 2 and a half weeks now and have gained 1.5 kgs or 3.3lbs or muscle and i deff dont want to lose it.

I take a casein protein shake before bed with 28g protein and was wondering if this willl stop me losing muscle?

I dont want to like eat anything before i go coz i am aiming for muscle gain but minimum fat gain.

Yeh lol, just is there anyway i can not go catabolic other than eating before i go? Thanx.

I wouldn't do any cardio without eating anything if you are trying to gain muscle, but since it's only walking it might not do much damage to your muscles. I myself would at least drink some whey before.
