more sprints=faster?

ok sorry for making another thread but i have another question. if i keep on increasing the number of sprints i do every time i do a session, will i get faster or just get more endurance? i dun really know if i should just keep on practicing the same number of sprints and see if i get faster that way, or if i should keep adding more so that i can overload the muscles. if i do more, i think that it will train me more so that my muscles can handle more stress. i also want to get stronger. so what will make my legs stronger and faster: more sprints or just practice the same number? thanks ^_^

I'm pretty sure there's a limit to how many sprints you can do before it becomes overwhelmingly aerobic.

Personally I would just hit the weights hard and do the same amount of sprinting...but...that's just me.

One thing - never sprint when tired. Before any sprint, make sure you have rested for 30 seconds-2 minutes (however long it takes to regain full strength again) and then sprint again. That is the ONLY way you improve your sprinting.

Another thing you can do - walk for 30 seconds and then sprint for 10 seconds and then repeat. or you can jog for 30 seconds or even a min and then sprint 10 seconds and repeat. whatever you want to do. just make sure the sprints only come in when your body is in full strength and energy to go again.

Keep in mind that if you do sprint when your tired, you will get slower. That is a proven fact and that has happened to me before too.

wow. THANKS, SALVATION! that really saved me from making a big mistake! i owe you, man! k i wasnt really sprinting when i was exhausted but i was sprinting when i was a little tired. il gain back strength b4 i do it now. thanks again.
