Mon-fri plan help pleaseee

Alright so currently I am doing bi's,back, and shoulders mon wed and fri and due chest, tri's and abs on tues and thurs but I've heard its bad to do tri's one day and then shoulders the next because you are overwokig the tri's?


can anyone make me a plan for mon-fri on what muscle to work on what days


btw I'm 19....5'9" 165lbs and not trying to get super big just trying to get toned and stay in shape

I also do HIIT running tues and thurs and long distance running mon wed and fri

and i play hockey on the weekends

any advice would be greatly appreciated.


i dont care much for squat hamsting workouts(b/c i work otu my legs enough with all the running and ice skating i do) so try to include just upper body stuff....thanks guys

Running is NOT working out your legs as weights would. You need a solid Full body routine 3 days a week and do your HIIT on off days. Check out Starting Strength. It will be perfect to give you a god base to build on.
 
I don't mean to sound like a broken record but ditto the two guys above, you need to be training everything in proportion to make the best gains and avoide inbalance. Do you want to be the twig leg guy with big biceps that everyone laughs at?

You need to create a plan that consists of the following (compound lifts):
Vertical press
vertical pull
horizontal press
horizontal pull
Lower body press
Lower body pull

Then you can add isolation stuff like curls and triceps pulldowns if you like but you really do need to hit your legs as hard as your upper body
