Mixing two supplement powders

So I have been lifting weights/running for a few months but I can't lift or run every day due to latic acid even when I stretch before and after working out. So I decided to take Whey Protein Powder. I am also taking Creatine Monohydrate. Each powder is 1 scoop per 8fl. oz. Wondering if I can mix the Whey Protein and Creatine in the same drink or double the water/sports drink or just drink two diffrent drinks. Also if you see anything red flag wise why I shouldn't mix these two let me know, my first time mixing supplements or taking them in general.

Also when to take the creatine I heard to take it before but also heard to take it after to help the muscles... If im taking the Whey Protein why take it after? Also as far as Creatine side affect of dehydration, I drink 2-3 liters of water a day. Should I drink more with the Creatine or not? So what are your suggestions of when to take both supplements? As you can tell im very new to this and been reading some of the threads in this forum and ill be cycling the Creatine and resting 2-3 days out of the week to relax the muscles. I was 5'9 190ish but now Im down to 5'10 150 at 19years old so I got that dreaded extra skin in my stomach so any suggestions to get rid of em besides crunches? Im also gonna switch from water to skim milk with the Whey from what I understand it releases the protein better into the system.

You can mix them into the same shake. Immediately after working out, down the combo shake.
Don't worry about 'loading' for creatine. Just take 1 tsp a day for a week, then just take it post workout days. Its more about replenishing what you use than adding a bunch of extra to the cells.

The important thing is to not add water/juice/liquid to the creatine until you're ready to take it. Adding liquid starts the breakdown into creatinine, which is completely worthless as a supplement...you just piss it out.

If you tend to sip your protein shakes slowly, add your creatine to small glass of water, chug it, then sip your shake.
I even know a few people who pop creatine in dry and just gulp down some water after.
