Milo Protein

G'day guys,

The other day my girlfriend was working child care at our local gym and one of the instructors saw the protein shake she was holding for me and was talkign to her about it.

She said they are a waste of money becuase using skim milk powder and milo has as much protein in it than any synthetic mixes, and much cheaper!

My first impression was hey that sounds like a good idea, then I thought so much depends on the type and quality of the protein. I couldn't imagine that something as simple and skim milk powder and milo would be as good as the protein shakes I take from GNC, otherwise places like GNC would be out of pocket!

Any other Aussies or milo drinkers on here care to comment?

As far as i was aware, i dont think milo has that much protein in it anway

does it not ??

No I dont think so. I looked up the label on the net and it only had a few grams. Will check when I get home.

As far as milk though, thats what I was wondering. What typ and quality is the protein in the milk?
