so this isnt an actual diet (as far as im aware)

but ive done fruit and veg diets before where ive just had .. wel fruit and veg...

but i need protein...so was thinking if i drank 2 pints of milk a day (to get the 56grams of protein i personally need a day) then should this be ok to do for a couple of weeks?

not going to have fruit this time (except for tomatoes and lemon juice) as fruit is a lot higher in calories

Is there a health reason why you're cutting all other food out of your diet? Is this something you can sustain long term?

I have found (for me) that I had to learn how to incorporate food into my life - regular food - food that my family eats. If I ever want to be able to keep the weight off, I could not "go on a diet" then "go off" once the diet was over.

Have you checked out or they are both sites for tracking calories, nutrition and fitness.

its not for any health reasons just to lose weight. i have no food allergies.

im able to stick to plans. and when i come off fruit and veg diets in the past i start with carb free then gradually increase carbs so as not to put the weight back on.

no my weight loss is still ongoing. ive lost quite a lot of weight.

i think i might end up having less than 1000 cals a day which is why im not to sure about doing this. i dont want my body to start storing them or anything. not to sure how it works.

I wouldn't recomend to anyone to have that few calories - and it's not just calories you're body needs, but macro nutrients as well.

The primary reason why people gain weight after being on a fad diet of any type is because it is not a sustainable way of eating.

If you do not learn to eat in a proportionate way, what it is your body needs, then the calories lost will only be regained when you go back to eating in a manner that made you gain weight in the first place.

A highly restrictrive diet not only sets a person up for failing, it is unhealthy in the long run.

If you eat 1000-1200 calories for any length of time, would you *want* that to become your maintenance level?

I think that not eating carbs may be bad for you. You should ask a professional. It's something the body needs. As for protein, boil some eggs and only eat the whites.

Your body does not NEED carbs.

Either way, I don't think living on vegies & milk in order to drop weight is a healthy approach.
