Sport Metallic taste in mouth.

Sport Fitness
Just today i realised that everytime after i exercise on the weekends, I only do...say, around 1 hour of just walking around my area. After I finish and get back home from walking down and up slopes, I get a metallic/bloody taste in the back of my mouth.(I always take a bottle of water with me, and normally finish it before i get back home)

Is it something to worry about? I don't think i'm doing any extensive exercising, or enough to be overdoing...

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

i think thats allergies ...could be sinuses...i get that taste whenever i get a bloody nose caused by allergies, dryness,or sinuses...

Iron taste in back of mouth after hard exercise

I have a similar question to the first message posted in this topic. I am in fair physical condition, i use a treadmill 15min a day, 3-5 days a week, and try to do other exercise such as walking whenever I get the chance. Yesterday I went to a street hockey tournament, and within a few minutes of playing I had incredible pain in my throat when I was breathing and a horrible iron taste. The iron taste lasted for a while and went away, but the pain continued. I was in discomfort but kept on playing on and off throughout the day. At the end of the day I had a raspy cough and it constantly felt like I had something in my throat. Any ideas?

esophogeal tear or variance. go to the doc and get it looked at. its kinda like mallory wiess syndrome, not good.

Could be an ulcer. I've had 3. There were times I would wake up with blood in my throat. But never a metallic taste. That could even be the onset of diabetes. Go get checked out. If for nuthin else for peace of mind.

the love dish of a lady doth taste a little metallic.
