Just wanted to ask if anyone here has been on this diet, and if so how they found it. This the Metabolic Diet by Dr. Di Pasquale. For those that havent heard of it, its basically a high-fat, high-protein diet with a twist.
During the week (mon-fri) your suppose to consume 40-50% of fat and 40-50% of protein, and no more then 30g of carbs. BUT then for the two weekend days, you switch into a carb loading phase which you consume 130-200g of carbs with 20-30% fat and 15-25% protein.
Something I forgot to mention, I am currently in a bulk cycle, and I figure as long as I eat the calories I am eating now to put on muscle, this should be fine, right???
