Met-Rx

Looking to lose weight and put on muscle. Working out with weights 3-4 times a week and cardio 10 times per week. Would taking this be a benefit?

Thanks

Met-Rx is a brand, not a particular supplement..

Got some good Met-Rx meal replacement shakes. Chocolate brand. YUM Yum YUMMY. If you want a good meal replacement shake go with Met-RX cause it contains aspartame for its sweetener not the crappy splenda stuff that will make you dizzy and bloated for hours on end. Splenda = Aspartame completely healthy. If you don't believe me check it out for yourself

What does your cardio workout look like? with the weights, do you focus on one muscle group or a whole body work out?

in regards to diet, make sure your eating healthy and often. 5-6 small meals a day. post what your diet is and there are many of us on here that can offer suggestions.

Vary your cardio, at least one day for distance, one day for speed and several days in the middle. with weights, you gotta lift, all i can say is push yourself. there is more about weight lifting than i can put on this reply

Met-Rx mrp's (the powdered ones) are one of the better ones to use.

however, its a supplment, and won't make up for a crappy diet.

If you like em that much, Ill sell you mine. I think I have about 40 packs of the chocolate kind.

some tricks for MRP's.

a teaspoon of instant coffee in chocolate kind - mocha java flavor
2 tablespoons of orange juice concentrate - orange julius flavor

be careful adding berries, as the seeds don't grind up when you blend it, so you end up with lots of gritty feeling seeds in the bottom of your shake.

lastly, limit yourself ot one, maybe two shakes maximum per day. if you don't, you'll find you'll get constipated, and then have some explosive mud butt afterwards. MRP's lack fiber and aren't solid to begin with.

Expect some heinous gas too.
