Men's One-a-day multi-vitamin

I used to be on GNC Mega Men. I switched to this and it seems to be doing better. Specifically, I don't get as tired.

My concern is it is once a day, but I plan to cut it in half and take it twice. It is also very inexpensive, but looking at the ingredients, it isn't too bad. Anyone have any thoughts?

INGREDIENTS:
Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide, Potassium Chloride, Cellulose, Ascorbic Acid, dl-Alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate, Corn Starch, Croscarmellose Sodium, Acacia, Dicalcium Phosphate, Zinc Oxide, Niacinamide, Stearic Acid, Gelatin, Silicon Dioxide, Dextrin, Magnesium Stearate, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Manganese Sulfate, Calcium Silicate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Hypromellose, Cupric Oxide, Resin, Glucose, Riboflavin, Sucrose, Vitamin A Acetate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Dextrose, Lecithin, Chromium Chloride, Lycopene, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Folic Acid, Beta-Carotene, Sodium Selenate, Sodium Citrate, Tricalcium Phosphate, Sodium Ascorbate, Tocopherols, Biotin, Phytonadione, Cyanocobalamin, Ergocalciferol, Ascorbyl Palmitate.

I'm not sure I see the benefit of cutting it in half and taking it twice. Beyond that, I suppose it looks fine. I've never been able to physically differentiate between multivitamins, though, so perhaps you're more sensitive.

The reason is to spread out the nutrients is the same to spreading out meals. Just seems a bit more logical. Am I overthinking it?

Yeah, I think so. I think what you've got is probably fine and I'd just pop it once a day. Focus that pill cutting energy into one more rep during each set or another notch on the treadmill incline ;) Good luck.

I usually take the expensive multi-vits once every two days and the inexpensive one's every day. Don't forget that as your body has no natural way of getting rid of some vitamins they can be counter-productive if taken too often. I often go through a non-vits period and guzzle as much water as I can.

Not too much

Recent studies show that men's multi's shouldn't have these mega doses of most vits. A basic multi that DOES NOT CONTAIN IRON seems to be the way. Just watch the rda's and make sure you're not taking 1000's of times the rda (not that I'm a big FDA fan, lol). And there is some sense to spltting your dose into 2, it will keep your levels of some vits more stable instead of a sudden surge then crash, as with some B's.
