Mens Multivitamins

Well, I know my daily intake of much needed vitamins was lacking, I finally decided to get a multivitamin... I picked up MegaMens from a GNC store.. just my second day taking them.

My day is very active, climbing telephone polls, carrying ladders, always active.. I have not felt any effects of it yet.. though I dont imagine I will anytime soon?

One thing I have noticed my urine which is normally a clear white, has become almost a neon very light yellow.

can anyone shed some light on when I will notice effects?

That super yellow urine, is usually vitamins your body did not digest or use. Essentially its money wasted ;)
Its perfectly fine.

And as Sara said Avoid GNC, their total crap.

Unless you were lacking a specific vitamin i doubt you will feel much different at all.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest most vitamins are total crap. For the most part they're not in their natural form and have been highly processed and damaged by heat and pressure. Eat as much fruits and vegetables as you can to get the bulk of your vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that way.

does independent testing to at least verify some supplements supply what they say they do, but they can't test everything. Given the unregulated nature of the supplement industry, don't expect much from most of what's out there.

Im guessing you are refering for the most part to "Synthetic" vitamins supplements. Which i agree fully, are total crap. A example of "Fake" vitamins would be "total" cereal. 99% of the vitemin content in that are all Synthetics.

I only take organic supplements or at least make sure they are not synthetic, most vitamins supplements that are cheap are synthetic.

The multivitamin I use is a chewable blackcurrant one.

I can tell it works because when the winter cold/bug has come around I haven't caught it or if I have it has been very minor compared to if I am normally ill.

well, eventually im looking at getting back into working out, I find it easy just to do push ups and sit ups at home on the floor.

Im looking into creatine types, i guess they have made some serious advancement in creatine...

can anyone comment on what to take.. my line of work is physical, alot of heavy lifting, climbing telephone poles, alot of walking around. Would creatine have an impact if taken with my already daily consumption of 6+liters of water daily and my work.. and the sit ups and push ups at home?

If you were serious enough to take creatine, and rework your diet, I'd also suggest a lifting routine. Not just push ups and sit ups... Anything is better than nothing though, just throw squats and pull ups in.
