Mega Whey

Hi. I have recently purchased mega whey from GNC and have taken it three times so far. I have taken an hour after my workout each day. I have read that you can also take it in the morning, or another 3 hours after you workout. I was wondering what would be the best time to take it, and also what would be the best time to work out. I usually workout around 7, so I take the mega whey around 8. Any help you guys can give me would be great.
 
when looking at the big picture, it doesnt matter what time you take whey protein. yes, you can take it before training and/or after training and other times during the day. but what is more important is to have good quality protein (eggs, milk, cottage cheese, yogurt, chicken, lean red meat, fish, turkey, etc) with each meal during the day. have protein and carbs before training to fuel the workout and after training. if any of these cant be had with food, then use the whey powder.

the best time to train is the time you can commit to day in and day out on a consistent basis. :)
 
I agree with abear, but I would say this...

the most important time to take your protien is ASAP.

When you finish your workout you should have your protien there and ready.
If you live far away from the gym, take your powder and shaker there and go with water if you have to. You know that hunger you get when you dont eat after working out, thats the worst feeling in the world for someone trying to bulk up, that feeling means your muscles are not growing when they should be.

so... the most important times to take protien is 1st thing in the morning, last thing at night and asap afetr the gym.

NOTE... lots of people try to mix up there shake and take it to the gym for after, however many protiens are only stable for up to 20mins in liquid, this means that you cant leave it sitting about, mix it and drink it right away.
