Hello everyone,

I am new here! I am hoping to get some much needed help.

I need to loose 40-50 pounds. I know diet is very important. I am struggling because I am a very fussy eater. I can't seem to find a meal plan that won't gross me out.

I track everything in my fitness pal. According to MFP I am allowed 1240 calories per day and around 1440 calories per day if i do my workout (30 day shred).

I work in an office and have long work days with long commutes home. So I am looking for breakfast and lunch ideas that are somewhat easy to make, not too expensive and healthy.

I hate eggs, grapefruit, fish.

Does anyone have any ideas/recipes you could share?

Thanks so much.

Welcome to the forum.

Check out the recipes section - there are all sorts of ideas there. Pages and pages submitted by members past and present.

There are plenty of healthy cereals - for instance weetabix with sweetener and skimmed milk or porridge.
If the weather is cold - then soup in a flask can be a great lunch. You can make it quite thick with veg and that would be pretty satisfying.
Maybe your office has a microwave which would open up a whole host of possibilities for your - a lot of supermarkets do calorie counted ready meals.

If the weather is hot - then salad and fruit would be great and you could supplement your salad with some lean protein - its a shame you don't like fish as salmon and tuna are brilliant in salads - and very lean.

In reality the biggest issue is not determining what to eat but in sticking to it... That is where forums like this come into their own. Making friends with other people on the same path in the diary section and challenges and clubs. Support others and they support you.
