Go with Fat free mayo.

except that is loaded with high fructose corn syrup, which is arguably WORSE than some saturated fat.

how about 'skip the mayo altogether'.

try White albacore tuna. its a lot less fishy (and a lot less like eating canned cat food).

I cannot stand chunk light tuna.

Nobody has mayo. with their tuna then? C'mon now. Thats my worst fat throughout the day. Its really not that bad compared to others.

God forgive me...I do. As far as the fat free mayo, that stuff is nasty. Given the choice between no mayo or fat free, I'd go without the mayo.

A friend of mine suggested using mustard with tuna! Worst combination ever.

I use a small amount of real mayo, romaine lettuce, tomatoes and a couple sweet pickles on whole wheat or multigrain bread.

I buy the solid white albacore tuna in spring water. It has a much better (ie lighter) flavor than chunk light, I totally agree. I hate mayo, always have, so I eat my tuna on whole wheat toast with a bit of pepper. A side of cucumber is good with it too, IMO. If you don't like tuna, try canned chicken breast (sold right beside the tuna in the store...).

Use light mayo, it has half the fat without HFCS. I switched over.
I tried White Albacore, I think it has less taste than regular tuna. It does have two grams more protein per serving though, so I will stick to it.

light miracle whip might work. (I'm not sure if its better for you or not, but to me it tastes better...)

Use a substitute. Personally, I find plain yogurt to do the job fine. You can use mustard if you wish, but I don't know if mustard is substantially better than mayo. My bets are that it is.

Mayo is the one thing i wont give up.
Gave up soda, fried foods, pizza, hot dogs...

I don't have it everyday or a massive amount or anything but when i want a whole wheat turkey sandwhich with mayo, i hit it!

Light Mayo won't kill you. It's actually low in Saturated Fat, which is the killer. Eating Tuna with a little bit of lite mayo is no worse than a cut of lean red meat, or lean ground beef. Besides, if you're going to make that part of your lifestyle, as opposed to a quick fad, you need to make your meals/diet healthy, as well as enjoyable, otherwise you will not last.
