maximum weight loss in 20 days?

i am going on vacation on the 22nd and i will have to wear a bikini.
i was wondering what is the fastest way to lose the most amount of weight in 20 days?

i know severe calorie restriction or a water diet might be necessary... im looking for the best crash diet and exercise routine here (i understand that shedding these pounds quickly means they will very likely come back once i start eating again)

but just to humor me... how much weight do you think can be lost in 20 days and what method is best to do so?
 
What I do when I need a pick-me-upper is I go get a body wrap. Yes, it's only water weight and money that you lose, but it makes me feel lighter and accomplished.
 
most diets result in a fair bit of water weight loss at the beginning. Try eating 1200 calories a day and doing something that raises the heart rate for 60 mins a day. You should get a fair bit of loss in the first couple weeks. Also There is the which will drop you about 10lb in a week. Though i wouldnt prolong that one more than a week. Its also pretty hard going.
Do the wraps right before going away for maximum impact - not whilst you're dieting. Fill up on veg and then eat the odd bite of whatever you are craving to remove cravings.

I'm certainly not a fan of compensatory behavior, which is exactly what you're doing. You didn't worry about things until it was close to the trip and now you want to make up for what you didn't do.

I'll tell you right now that 99 out of 100 people are going to end up worse than they were before.

But if your prerogative is to maintain this short-term thinking, I'd go with something like a protein sparing modified fast. (PSMF)

It's your best bet of retaining as much muscle as possible while losing as much fat as possible.

Low gi as in low glycemic index? Your link doesn't work and it looks like spam too... but I could be wrong.

Like any product, how much exercise you do or what you eat, everyone is going to vary with their weight loss. Some folks only lose 1-3 lbs while others will lose 5-8. Inches varies also. But it gives me that feeling of being lighter.. or maybe it's my pockets being less full. Oh, it depends on what kind of wrap you get to. Some places provide poor service as far as what you're looking for. Others do a great job where you're all wrapped up while doing low cardio. Give it a try if you like. I'm always down to try new things and this is something I would recommend to my friends.

I lost 9lb i think on it - most of that in the first 3-5 days, and i had already been 'dieting' i guess for many months at the time. The hard part is not overeating comming off.

All diets work.

And the amount you gain back depends on how you eat after the diet.
What he says. I regained hardly any at all, though it was very hard not to overeat tons after it, or even during it because it denys you so much.

In your case I don't think it matters since you're in an emergencey weight loss situation so what would I recommend?

Well, any fad diet will work - you'll just gain it back and the only one I think of right now off the top of my head is the Lemon diet or master cleasne diet

Beyonce used this diet to lose 20 pounds in 10 days or something like that (i can't remember right now) but...

Don't go crazy deciding which "fad"diet to pick - As long as it's very low calorie and has yu only drinking juice (like the lemonade diet) for calories -you'll quickly lose s much weight as possible in 20 days BUT REMEMBER -

You will lose a lot of weight for your bikini vacation and expect to go back to your orignal weigh afterwards and one last note and I'll shut-up

In some cases your metabolism will slow down so much after being on a fad diet you may gain back & go back to your original weight but you may end up weighing more than before you started the fad diet

Why this over a PSMF?

In some cases your metabolism will slow down so much after being on a fad diet you may gain back & go back to your original weight but you may end up weighing more than before you started the fad diet

Metabolism is not as volatile as ya think. The largest drop, and this was in already lean men being starved in a nazi-concentration-camp-style (in controlled settings) was 30%.

A deficit will never turn into a surplus.

why do you *have* to wear a bikini?

Yeah, I agree with Maverick.

If it were me, I would spend my money on a bathing suit I felt comfortable in the way I am now.
