Hey everyone!
My name is Marissa, and I've been with this site for a few months now, on and off. I decided to delete my old diary and start all over. I got lazy and inconsistent and I've gained back all the weight I've lost. Now I'm back where I started, and I'm ready to lose the weight for real.
I think that since I first started, I've learned a lot more about my body and myself, what works for me and what doesn't. So I'm going to do things a little bit differently now...
I'm going to start by setting some realistic goals and boundaries for myself. I would like to lose 1-3 lbs per week, with a healthy diet and exercise. But I won't be counting calories--instead, I'll be making decisions about food based on what I know is healthy, and what I would be better off staying away from. I'll also have to work on portion sizes and stopping when I know I'm full.
My goal is to get to 110 lbs (I'm only about 5'0" tall) by April 28, 2006.
I'll keep ya posted, wish me luck!
