Anybody had these? I used to work at a gourmet shop place a few years back when I was in high school. They had these nuts and I would snack on them, and loved them. The place closed down, and for years I missed these delicious almonds because I couldn't for the life of me remember what kind of nut they were, let alone that they were in the almond family. I stumbled upon they a week ago and bought a little container...holy crap they are sexual.
Apparently you can get them raw (never tried that way), or lightly fried in olive oil and salt. They are just incredible. Problem is that they are about $18 a pound, so a tiny ass container was $5. Anyhow, if you are looking to try an awesome nut, give this a go. Of course, everyone has different tastes, but I find it hard to believe that this wouldn't rank very high. Peanuts have always been my #1 by a long long shot, but these come damn close...now to find marcona almond butter. :drooling1:
