Sport Malkore.....I need your help!!

Sport Fitness
I was very impressed by the calculations and advice you gave to the question about 5 meals per day and the ratio of protein to carbs, etc. I am 50 years old, have been working out about 5 times per week for 3 months now and am looking to really fine-tune my diet so that it all comes together. I weigh about 185 (female) and have found I've lost inches since beginning my workout but not much weight. I do about 60 minutes of circuit training and 30 cardio on arc trainer or eliptical every session. Any advice on the ratio of carbs/protein/fats for me if I want to focus on losing weight?

You do an hour of weights and 30 minutes of cardio 5x a week?

Sorry I'm not Malkore, but I'll still post my opinions :D :p

You're working out too much. You've lost inches... good. Weight doesn't matter. Depending on your caloric intake and routine... you could be gaining some muscle as well. Have you had your body fat checked? What has been the change there? That's the best measure of progress.

I'd post more information for Malkore to answer you with. Post your current daily caloric intake and post what you eat and when. He/we may be able to provide more info then.

There is another thread on this board in which I talk the poster through the process. Let me go find it...

I agree with these guys so far. that's a lot of physical activity...too frequent on the weight sessions.

Need to see a real accurate daily food diary too.
