Male Runners and Tights

I've started wearing tights for winter running and am impressed by what they do. There's just one problem: the center seam in the crotch. I've been running in UA Heatgear, and I notice some irritation on my boys from the middle seam. Do any other guys have a problem with this?

I know some dudes wear supporters like compression shorts, but in the south winters are mild, and the fewer layers, the better. I like tights with seams on either side of the crotch, but they are usually either base layers or very expensive. Are there some options I'm not thinking of?

Ya, wear seamless thong underneath or jock. UA heatgear doesn't have a gusset to ventilate like other running tights. It helps to keep from heating up down there feeling more comfortable. Look into other brands that have ventilated gussets.

Other companies have double seam front but that is for underwear can't see anyone seriously wearing compression undies as outerwear. Such as 2xU which see women wear more so then men but things change over time and more people will wear things differently without judgment from others.
