Male and pregnant

Hey all,

Newbie her to the site. A brief intro, Im male 32, 179cm tall and weigh 196lbs.
Basicly 4 years ago I had a slim frame, and for the last 2 years I have sat on my butt, ate fattie junk and drank a huge amounts of beer everyday and the weight has come on. Someone on a webcam said I looked pregnant so here I am .

I quit the junk food and eat sensible now and quit all alchohol for past 3weeks. I have started jogging around the block, takes abt 15 mins and I am also doing a little workout for 10 mins per day, a few stomach crunches, sit-ups and some push ups and joggin on the spot. Also drink loads of water

I havent noticed any difference last couple of weeks am I doing the right thing to loose the beer gut ? Any advice would be great, i aint after all them 6pack muscles just a flatter stomach, and how long you think will take ??

cheers

Welcome Mike, depends on how hard you work and how you eat.

It actually takes a long while. Don't expect to see results in a few short weeks, or even weeks. At 196, and looking pregnant, you have a long road ahead of you. Just stick to it, don't get discouraged, and keep going! ;)

thanks for welcome an support,

Gonna be a hard slog, but i am sure worth it, today my muscles ache in the legs, stomach and butt, guess the muscles getting used as not before..

No pain no gain as they say...

gonna look around the forums now an get some tips

many thanks

You can do it UK_Mike, Keep up the jogging, increase the time your jogging slowly to 20min, then 25 min, then twice around the block for 30 min or less. You'll continue to feel that ache less and less as you progress. In fact Im sure your noticing a change already. Eatting sensibly, cutting out the snacks and beer, lowering your calorie intake like your already doing is great. 21 consistent days to form a habit... you can do it!
